As a lactation consultant, i have been recommending the Silver Mama nipple cups as a nipple care strategy to mothers experiencing discomfort for some time. We firstly always work on improving the latch to prevent further damage. When there is persistent damage or discomfort, the Silver nipple cups have been a helpful tool while the mother and baby is still getting into the swing of things in the first weeks. Many mothers have reported relief when wearing the silver cups, mostly due to the barrier is creates against chafing on the pad or bra. I appreciate that the Silver Mama cups are reusable, which helps to avoid recurring costs if nipple discomfort persists for a few weeks.

I’m not sure how scientifically the cups work but they are absolutely AMAZING and are almost immediately EFFECTIVE.
