Of all the things I tried, this was hands down the thing that worked. I wore these nipple shields day in and day out over my breastfeeding journey and it saved me after my initial scarring from getting it over and over again.
It is my second time breastfeeding, had no problems the first time. This time my nipples was so sore that I was crying day in and day out. I didn’t want to stop breastfeeding as my first child breastfed for 10 months. After googling nights away, I found this and decided it was my last resort. After the second day of wearing these, I felt a big improvement and a few days later my nipples were 100%. It is now a month later and I am so happy that I bought these as I haven’t had sore nipples since.

I really wish I had known about SILVER MAMA from baby no 1… it was so so tough trying all the “boere raad” and struggling with every feeding, wanting to give up and just turn to formula to save my nipples… with my first 2 I pushed through bleeding cracked nipples and crying myself until i was healed at 4 weeks, breastfed until 8 months each… with my 3rd baby I was mentally (had severe baby blues for the 1st time ever) and emotionally over the pain and high expectations of a mom of 3- that I gave up at 3 and a half weeks of broken bleeding nipples and switched to formula… with this last baby I said I want to try and on day 3 I was again crying and had the worst cracked nipples and bleeding ever- a friend of mine told me about these SILVER MAMA and I said its my last resort…. I will try these and if it doesn’t work I am switching to formula again- she was so kind to lend me her SILVER MAMA she used with her twins as trial and error- I wore them for 2 hours and the next feed was surprisingly better- I thought it was just in my head and with each feed it got better and better- I get thrush so easily and was expecting to get it soon and it never came around… I was convinced and ordered my own set which arrived in 4 days from ordering- i wear them 24/7 and can with all honesty say that it saved my breastfeeding journey- I will wear them for as long as I must to completely heal.
